We can be deceived by the illusion that there is an elusive “something” out “there”, in some other time or location, that will fulfill us. That is to say, bring us into a fulfilling life. That is to say, a life that makes us feel whole, connected, secure, anchored, ready, fit, healed.
This “something” is illusory. There is nothing greater than what has already been provided for, than what is straight in front of your face. What is there, what is yours, what has been given, is enough. It is our responsibility to cherish and garden what we have, to grow and nourish it, making it richer and cultivated.
The world is deceptive– making a chase for a vain experience of life the reality of most. There is nothing else greater than what has been given to you.
